Price

Daily hunting rates include:

•   Accommodation

Not included in the daily rate:

•   Dipping, packing and shipping of trophies
•   Game/animals taken or wounded during the hunt
•   Taxidermy costs
•   All personal expenses such as curios, gifts, gratuities to staff etc
•   Transport costs outside of the contracted period / safari
•   Hiring of rifles (R250 p/day p/rifle) Ammunition not included.
•   Hunting licenses R200 p/hunter
•   All alcoholic drinks

15% Discount on Daily rates if the hunt is a management/Non trophy hunt.

Fallow Deer

The European Fallow can be found in more colour variations than any other deer. Usually the summer coat is rich brown but black and completely white deer can also be found.

The Czech Republic has a good population of Fallow deers in the wild as well as in gutters as well. The first writing about fallow deer in the Czech republic was found from 1465, in a place called Podivice nad Vaskovkou. We also found that from 1548 Fallow Deer was bred in Royal game park “Stromovka” which is still nowadays one of Prague’s largest game parks. After overpopulation, fallow deer were released in free range parks where they successfully bred ever since.

We offer mostly Fallow deer hunting in several gutters around the Czech Republic, these gutters are from 500 ha up.

We offer Fallow deer (Stags, Does and Fawns) hunting from the 16th of August until the 31st of December, Fallow deer rut is in around mid October.

Fallow deer hunting in one of our gutters is available all year round.

Mouflon Hunting

The European mouflon (Ovis orientalis musimon) is the westernmost and smallest subspecies of mouflon. It was originally found only on the Mediterranean islands of Corsica and Sardinia, but has since been introduced into many other regions of Europe.

Thanks to its ability to adapt, the mouflon population in Czech Republic has tripled in the last 30 years, increasing from 8000 to 22000 animals. The beginning of the mouflon breeding in Czech lands dates back to ’50s – ‘60s of the past century when some mouflons were imported from Linz (near Vienna) to a fenced game reserve in Hlubokà nad Vltavou. From Hlubokà, the mouflons were gradually introduced in the fenced game reserve of Orlík nad Vltavou and in other fenced game reserves (in Czech obory). When some fenced hunting areas were dismissed at the end of the Second World War, mouflons moved to open forest and nowadays are present all over the Czech republic. The mouflon prefers stony, hilly lands with broad-leaved forests but it is able to adapt also to other grounds, including humid areas with soft grounds.

We also offer Mouflon hunting in several gutters around the Czech Republic, these gutters are from 500 ha up.

We offer Mouflon (rams, female and lams) hunting from the 1st of August until the 31st of December, Mouflon rut is in the end of autumn to early winter.

Mouflon hunting in one of our gutters is available all year round.

Mouflons

Gutter / In the wild

In general we only shoot rams that are old / large enough to get the medal class. An exception are rams with ingrowing snails.

Accomodation

We have several hunting areas, according to where you will be hunting we can offer you the accommodation. Besides a standard stay in one of our hunting lodges we can offer you a luxury stay at Marsovy Chody Estate. The main house of the Estate was built in 1846 and contains comfortable rooms with each their own bathroom, several living rooms, a huge garden with swimming pool and a two hole Golf Course, all situated in the middle of the hunting grounds. Marsovy Chody Estate offers you all luxury and comfort during your stay.

How to reach our Hunting grounds?

We are situated in the west of Bohemia just 20 km over the border with Bavaria one hour away from Nurnberg. Airports are Prague approximately 1 hour and 15 min away and Nurnberg airport around the same distance.

From The Netherlands and Belgium it is approximately a 7 hour drive. When travelling by plane you can easily rent a car at the airport.

Roe Deer Hunting

The roe deer (Capreolus Capreolus) is the smallest deer species found in Czech republic. The Czech Republic has one of the biggest dens of Roe deers in Europe, the vast countryside with a mix of agriculture fields, forest and wetlands create the best habitat for Roe deers.

Roe Buck stalking offers some of the most exhilarating and exciting deer stalking in the world and can be at its very best in our Czech hunting grounds where we achieve to shoot numerous good heads each year with some reaching medal class.

We offer Roebuck hunting from the 16th of May until the 30th of September, Roebuck rut is at the end of July and beginning of August.

The fixed price for each Roebuck regardless of the trophy strength – in the above mentioned state run, amounts to € 350
The average trophy weight is between 200 and 320 grams (net weight). Every hunting season, stronger roe deer are also stretched.
The discount price for roe deer in this top hunting ground is:
up to 350 grams: € 350
from 351 to 450 grams: € 550
more than 450 grams: € 790
The average trophy quality of roe deer is between 250 and 450 grams
(net weight). Every year, roe deer are also stretched between 450 and 600 gram!

Sika Deer

The Sika deer (Cervus nippon) also known as the spotted deer or the Japanese deer, is a species of deer native to much of East Asia, and introduced to various other parts of the world.

The Czech Republic has a good population of Sika deer in the wild. Sika deer were introduced in Czech Republic at the end of 1800. They were held in fenced areas for hunting. Around 1930, Sika deer escaped a fenced area in the Pilsen region, which resulted in strong wild populations of this elusive deer in the western part of Bohemia.
